With over 10 years of experience in the Design and Retail field of South Africa, I have achieved significant accomplishments as a Creative Lead. In 2018, I obtained my Honours degree in Graphic Design with flying colours, graduating cum laude and receiving the academic award with my final research paper, which focused on ethical design.
Recently, I obtained accreditation as a content and copywriter, passing with distinction. These achievements showcase my dedication to continuous growth and excellence in the creative, marketing and design industry.

ABOUT ME
Growing up in Delmas, a small town near Pretoria, South Africa, I completed my high school education in 2008. After a gap year in 2009, I embarked on a journey of creativity, pursuing a BA Bachelour's degree in Graphic Design in 2010. Since then, I have been on a fulfilling and diverse career path, exploring various aspects of design, including Print, Desktop Publishing (DTP), User Interface/Experience Design(UI/UX), Digital Content Creation and Social Media.

Joining Chamberlain Hardware in 2013 marked a significant turning point in my career. Over the past several years, I have progressed from being a Graphic Designer to taking on the role of Creative Lead in 2022. Along the way, I've attained an Honours degree in Graphic Design, graduating with distinction and earning the Student of the Year award. My final research paper was dedicated to exploring ethical design—a true passion of mine within the design industry.

Throughout my professional journey, I have obtained a wide range of skills, including Adobe software, excellent verbal and written communication abilities, team management and development, and the coordination of content, campaigns, and social media. These experiences have enriched my skill set and ignited a passion for creating impactful and meaningful design solutions.
Recently, I achieved another milestone in my career by obtaining accreditation as a digital content and copy creator, surpassing expectations with a distinction.
